A Design Maven was born from my love for thoughtful design and a deep respect for the materials that shape our world. As an interior designer specializing in FF&E, working with textures, textiles, and sustainable materials has always been at the heart of what I do. This passion naturally extended into fashion — especially brands that care for the Earth and the people behind the product. I discovered Dhaaga Life, an Indian brand that embodies these values. Their bags, handwoven from eco-conscious materials like jute and bamboo, are crafted by women artisans — many of whom are earning an income for the first time through this empowering work. At A Design Maven, I curate pieces that tell a story — of sustainability, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury that doesn’t cost the planet.
